The new Star Wars sets, which incorporate Smart tech, might be cool — but fans are not abiding by the rising costs of basic sets or Lego's direction

There may be plenty of Harry Potter LEGO sets already, but the release cadence is not slowing down one bit in 2026. A big new batch is now available, including the gorgeous display piece depicting key scenes and characters from the Sorcerer’s Stone.

LEGO reveals its Smart Play system, which uses a Brick, Tag, and Minifig system to bring greater interactivity to its sets.

As its title suggests, Legacy of the Dark Knight is a LEGO Batman game. While LEGO games used to be a dime a dozen, this Gotham-set one looks to continue the trend begun with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, in that it’s a high quality game that appears to be made with a lot of care.

LEGO has a dozen confirmed Marvel sets for 2026, and they have three specific goals to live up to - which they successfully do.
