Tornadoes swept through several midwestern cities Friday leaving destruction and devastation in their wakes as a massive system tore through the area.

Residents in Olmsted County are cleaning up severe storm damage, with the sheriff's office saying "disaster recovery continues to occur at full speed."

Severe winds and tornadoes impacted the Upper Midwest, causing extensive damage to communities in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, but fortunately, no fatalities were reported.

Officials say more than 100 homes were damaged and one person was injured in a "significant tornado outbreak" across Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa on Friday.
